Understand contractual AQAP requirements
Allied Quality Assurance Publications define NATO quality assurance requirements. The applicable AQAP depends on the contract. AQAP 2110 supplements ISO 9001 with NATO requirements; AQAP 2105 addresses the contract quality plan. Verify the agreed edition.
Include inspection in the layout
Provide suitable receiving, in-process, final inspection and blocked-stock areas. Associate instruments, records and release status with the goods. Missing process areas can create uncontrolled handovers and mix-ups.
Configuration and nonconformities
Control serial numbers, batches and drawing revisions according to contract requirements. Changes need assessment and approval. Keep nonconforming parts controlled and document rework and concessions so the delivered configuration remains traceable.
Suppliers and ramp-up
Agree evidence requirements, subcontracting and inspection access before start-up. Align Cheb warehouse and production workflows with the customer quality plan. Finding suitable premises does not itself establish AQAP compliance of the future operation.
Prepare for site planning
The planning lists below are practical recommendations for your site project; they do not replace project-specific qualification or a regulatory decision.
- Confirm contract requirements and AQAP edition
- Provide inspection and blocked-stock areas
- Link materials to configuration status
- Control changes and rework
- Agree evidence and inspection access
